100% Grenache Noir:
Heron Bluff Vineyard.
This wine takes inspiration from the white Pinot Noirs made in the Willamette Valley. We took a half ton of Grenache Noir, sorted and pressed the grapes to a neutral French oak barrel, where full primary and malolactic fermentation took place. Following fermentation, this wine spent 10 months on its lees in barrel before being bottled.
Tasting Notes: This opulent wine opens with aromas of lemon meringue pie and pink grapefruit, layered with delicate notes of lemon verbena. On the palate, the wine shows excellent vibrancy, balancing citrus brightness with subtle baking spice and toasted hazelnut that add complexity and depth. The finish is clean and inviting, with a hint of salty minerality that provides a savory counterpoint to the wine's fruit-forward character, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and precision.
