White Grenache Noir

This wine takes inspiration from the white Pinot Noirs made in the Willamette Valley, and is intended to be our fall and winter white wine. Made from the same fruit we make red wine from, we press it off the skins immediately, and let it ferment and age in neutral French oak. A richer profile, this wine is great for sipping by a cozy fire on a chilly night.

Yes, a white Grenache Noir. Revel in your confusion as this light-hued, medium-bodied wine delivers a striking aromatic combination of nectarines and lanolin. Zippy acidity then lights up flavors like tangerine cake and lemon curd. The wine was fermented and aged for eight months in neutral oak.Michael Alberty

This unique 2022 White Grenache Noir was pressed off skins immediately and underwent fermentation in neutral French oak with full malolactic fermentation, followed by 8 months of aging on lees. It displays a lovely medium lemon-silver core with a delicate watery rim. Aromas of raspberry essence, bright Meyer lemon, and sweet white nectarine make for an inviting nose. Smooth and easy-drinking on the palate, this rare wine offers a refreshing experience with its tiny production of only 27 cases.Jeremy Young

This is tasty stuff, lightly toasty, full-bodied and loaded with a pleasing mix of stone fruits. Pale gold, it’s not as rich as the alcohol might suggest, but packs plenty of details. Highlights include breakfast tea, lemon oil and lemon verbena, trailing out through a long, inviting finish. Sadly just one barrel was produced.Paul Gregutt

This White Grenache Noir might be the only wine of its kind in Washington State. Nutty and earthy tones line a pretty core of red rose water, red raspberry and thyme notes. Drink 2024-2030Owen Bargreen

This wine is a rare white offering of Grenache. It was fermented and aged in neutral barrel and spent 8 months on lees, with full malolactic fermentation. Slightly golden in color, the aromas offer notes of cream, lees, and apple. Full-bodied, creamy-feeling flavors follow. A warm finish caps it off. It’s part intellectual interest, part enjoyment.Sean Sullivan
